Ambush at the Festival is the seventeenth episode of Mikey: Storm Overdrive.
Plot[]
In a distant city, BURST leader Zakarus takes a recall of the past events since the first episode: They had their former assassin, Shadow, steal all the data on the special project "Dark Gene", gained scans of Mikey's abilities for the 'Enhancement Machine', and stolen a fragment from Mikey's Overdrive element. Now, Zarkarus decides to send in one of his elite members of BURST to take on Lizard in order to examine the enhancement machine's success.
At a festival, Team Lizard Storm makes an arrival due to the fact that they saved the city from the Dark Hunters. While at the festival, the gang encounter a powerful Dark-elemental known as Berserk and are unable to counter his abilities. Mikey learns what happened back two years ago prior to defeating the Darkness Armada.
Back in the past, Mikey and his teammates, Jake and Tyrone arrive at the WHPA where they encounter a powered Bioshock who attacks them while a young Shadow steals a part of the rare Crystix gemstone and manage to escape.
In the present, Mikey fights of against Berserk while utilizing his Overdrive, thus breaking the playing field when he injures Berserk's powerful abilities, thus revealing a weak point. Since they were unable to stop them, Mikey and the gang enjoy the rest of the festival.
Back at BURST HQ, Berserk blames himself until Zakarus tells him that their plan is not yet done yet and tells the others not to fail, with Damian seen in the background.
